Program and Activities
BUDDIES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is an elementary school, with teachers whose mother tongue is english, that follows the Italian Ministries program in the English language.
By basing the teaching on the italian program, Buddies guarentees compatibility with italian schools; whilst the continued use of English as a medium of communication and interaction allows the children to become practically bilingual.
BUDDIES, therefore, combines the completeness of the Italian school education with a near perfect knowledge of English.
Italian language and grammar lessons are taught by an Italian teacher who focuses their attention exclusively on reading and writing. The large number of hours devoted to this activity, 7 hours a week, ensure that the children will enter secondary school with a wealth of spelling skills, vocabulary and grammar comparable to those of their peers.
In addition, to ensure a high-level educational offering is provided, the music and motor skills curriculum is taught by highly qualified external personnel.
