The Buddies programs and activities are specifically designed to meet the needs of each age group.

The Kindergarten Program develops the necessary skills for reading, writing and math readiness through the introduction of basic concepts and vocabulary, implementing special areas such as: social sciences, fine and gross motor development, art, drama and music. Students are totally immersed into the English language.

The Kindergarten Program runs from 7.30 a.m. to 6.00 pm.

The classes are formed by children in the same age range:

  • Ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2
  • Ages 3 1/2 to 4 1/2
  • Ages 4 1/2 to 6

The curriculum is thematic and based on authentic content related to the world around them. The curriculum is designed to perfectly fit the child’s developmental stage.

Age 3: "Me and my senses"

This is often the child's first experience of an educational environment. Our program is based on the philosophy of "learning through play" using themes and practical experience to encourage speech pattern in English. Through our program the children will develop a greater awareness of themselves and their senses as receptor of the world around them.

Age 4: "Me and the world of fairy tales"

A stimulating program that encourages creativity, imagination and English language skills through role-play and dramatization. Themes and concepts such as life in a community and our relationship with others are explored using stories, puppetry, costumes, music and lots of creative verbal and body language expressions.

Age 5: "I am growing"

The program is designed to prepare children for elementary school through activities that will build foundations for literacy, numeracy and critical thinking. Children are encouraged to communicate ideas, make up stories, and recognize some numbers and a few letters of the alphabet.
